The smaller faceted stones catch separate flashes of violet above the larger round amethyst, so the drop reads as movement rather than a single point of color.

Each pair is shaped by hand in polymer-coated silver-plated wire using Alambrismo, wrapped and tensioned instead of glued, then matched so the two earrings read as one. The amethyst is natural stone, so the violet in yours is its own.

Amethyst is February's birthstone. Silver keeps it from reading as a birthday gift.
